Cherish Every Moment of Peace

I am going to go to Old City Hall Cenotaph with my LINC-mates and teacher tomorrow.  I have learnt many things related to Remembrance Day for a week. I will be there to participate in the activities and ceremony.
Frankly, I never have heard of Remembrance Day before I came to Canada. I felt so weird when i saw some senior citizens wearing a red flower as an accessory several days ago. In China, we usually wear white a flower as a sign of mourning. I appreciate government setting apart  this special day so we can pay our tribute to those who sacrificed their young lives to the battle for peace. Everyone of them should be memorized forever. I'm grateful that i was born in a peaceful  world.  Don't forget that bloody war and cherish every moment.
I think today is a good start for me to integrate into the Canadian.
