differences between healthcare professionals and practices between Canada and Chinese

  1. In china, patient can visit any doctor in any hospital without referral form issued by GP. In fact , GP system is developing in china, but nobody willing to visit them first. Most of them is too young to be trusted. As a common sense, doctor aged between 40-55 is admitted a golden career period. You can choose who you trust to. Why not?
  2. Uniform. As same as nurse, doctors wear uniform even in a small clinic. I have visited my GP in canada. She wears in her own style but right dress code.
  3. Drug and pharmacy. In canada, you take prescription to go to any drugstore. In china, hospitals have their own department in charge of pharmacy. Think a few second, what will be happened in this system. Right! Doctor can get commission from prescriptions which offered by drug representative . As a result for patient, you maybe  overtake the drugs you really need to.
  4. General hospital. General hospital in canada where is the place for emergency, researching, medical examination etc. Out-patient is not allowed to visit directly. In china, you can finish some simple physical examination and tests such as blood test, B extrasonic inspection, x-ray inspection in one day. That's sound good, right! But you can not finger out which one is necessary indeed. The only thing you can do is---pay! Just finger out how rich you are.
